HENGE UNVEILS THEIR 2025 COLLECTION ALONGSIDE A BESPOKE COLLABORATION WITH PATRICIA URQUIOLA AND THE DESIGN OF VOCLA’S LOUNGE BAR

Exclusive Pieces by Tanju Özelgin, Johanna Grawunder, Yabu Pushelberg are now on show at the Henge Showroom in Via della Spiga 34, Patricia Urquiola’s unique kitchen design can be seen at Palazzo Bovara, and Vocla’s  atmospheric lounge is now open by night

Milan, 9 April 2025Henge, the distinguished Italian luxury design brand, proudly unveils its highly anticipated 2025 Collection this week in Milan. The new collection is now on display at the brand’s iconic showroom at Via della Spiga 34 and embodies Henge’s signature approach to materiality and craftsmanship. This year’s collection features exclusive new pieces from first-time collaborators Tanju Özelgin and Johanna Grawunder, alongside returning creatives such as the renowned studio Yabu Pushelberg and long-standing partners including Massimo Castagna, Ugo Cacciatori, and Isabella Genovese.

Henge’s 2025 Collection explores new horizons in contemporary design through a series of extraordinary pieces that redefine the relationship between material, space, and emotion.

Tanju Özelgin, celebrated for his refined minimalism and architectural sensibility, presents “Oblio”, a sculptural sofa and “Audace” lounge chair that seamlessly adapt to their environment. Meanwhile, Johanna Grawunder, famed for her innovative use of light and colour, introduces “Go-go-go” and “Stalagmite” — luminous installations that blur the line between art and function, transforming space through steel, glass, and vivid refractions. Yabu Pushelberg returns with “Ripple”, a poetic series of interlocking stone trays that evoke the delicate energy of water’s surface.

Each of these collaborations reflects Henge’s commitment to pushing boundaries, crafting unique pieces that blend timeless elegance with contemporary innovation.

Beyond the showroom, Henge also debuts a sophisticated kitchen concept designed by Patricia Urquiola for Alchemica, this year’s show curated by Elle Decor Italia at Palazzo Bovara. Inspired by the transformation of matter, this "Kitchen Lab of the Nigredo Room" captures the essence of alchemy through a stunning material composition. At its core lies a monolithic island, composed of black stone and violet onyx, celebrating the interplay of texture and contrast. With deep, earthy tones and a concept rooted in the elemental processes of heat and combustion, the design embodies the poetry of cooking as an alchemical ritual.

Henge also takes centre stage at VOCLA, an innovative platform for design experimentation and social gathering debuting during Milan Design Week. For this new project, Henge has created the entire lounge space and bar, shaping the heart of the VOCLA experience with its distinctive aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail.

Designed by Ugo Cacciatori, the central bar—crafted entirely by Henge—functions as both an exhibit and a vibrant meeting point. This extraordinary installation includes iconic pieces from Henge’s collection alongside custom designs such as the “Air Bar”, the nine-metre “Diapason” bookcase, and “Re-Bond” sofas—a bold collaboration between Henge’s textural sensibility and The Attico’s audacious colour world. Completing the setting are the striking “Spyder 80” lights and Mushroom coffee tables. Together, these elements create an inviting, refined environment that embodies Henge’s dedication to contemporary luxury and artisanal excellence.

Founded by Alcova, VOCLA offers a uniquely nocturnal and immersive experience, combining curated design with social gathering. Henge’s contribution plays a key role in transforming Milan’s historic ex-slaughterhouse into a dynamic space where design is not only viewed but fully lived.

For over a decade, Henge has led the way in shaping refined, soulful interiors. Now present in over 70 countries, the brand continues to push boundaries through meaningful collaborations and a philosophy rooted in timeless expression.

Ends.

ABOUT TANJU ÖZELGIN

Tanju Özelgin is an Istanbul-based interior architect and designer. His design approach is a fusion that freely integrates influences from diverse periods, movements, and styles. He defines the point where these multi-layered interactions simplify and converge as "Töz," a concept he developed to encapsulate the essence of his design philosophy.

A graduate of Marmara University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design, Özelgin has carried out numerous local and international projects ranging from product design and furniture collections to architectural projects and custom interiors. Central to Özelgin’s design philosophy is the idea that objects, buildings, or spaces should evolve beyond their original purpose, continually acquiring new meanings and functions over time. This vision supports the principle of timelessness and permanence inherent in the "Töz" concept, ensuring his designs remain relevant, adaptable, and responsive to everchanging needs. The influence of "Töz" is strongly evident in his product designs, where functionality and aesthetics merge seamlessly, resulting in elegant solutions born from a simplified synthesis of complexity. His careful attention to material selection and meticulous detailing results in designs that endure gracefully over time.
